Where in the World Is Fundy Blue?

I have hit rock bottom.
I am impossibly behind on blogging.
Well, almost impossibly.

I shall return to posting on Friday.
Meanwhile, I shall be enjoying my favorite pastime:
Catching Up.
Maybe this time I'll figure it out!

  1. Hopefully the rocks aren't too pointy, that would sure hurt when you hit them lol

  2. You have a life! Hurrah. Don't feel obligated to catch up. Enjoy yourself. Each day I really have to stretch to find something to blog about. Not much going on this time of year.

  4. The great thing about blogging is that there is truly no such thing as being behind. There's no timeframe rules or deadlines or anything like that. Just blog when you can, read others' blogs when you have time, and enjoy the process! It's not a job!

    1. Thanks, Linda! It's been almost 35 years since I was among my favorite saguaro cacti. We studied their lifecycle almost every year I taught. It did my heart good to see these majestic plants again! Now if I can just get ahead! Thanks for the encouragement, my special friend!

  6. I am behind all the time. Maybe we shouldn't see it that way.

  9. I looked closely at the 1st photo and estimate the cacti at 20 to 30 feet tall. Amazing!

    1. Hi Geo! The saguaro cacti are amazing! They grow very slowly, but because of their long lifespans, they can reach 70 feet in height. The two I am standing by are a good 30 feet tall and at least 75 years old (approximate age at which they begin to branch). They probably weigh several tons! The saguaro is one of my most favorite plants in the world! I'm sorry I haven't been by since Christmas. I'm getting caught up slowly. Hope all is well with you and Norma!

  10. Louise, take heed of what Debra said above.....only do what you can don't worry about the rest. Life will go on.
    That desert looks SO inviting.

  11. Great pictures! I don't think I've ever seen cacti that big :)
I know how you feel about being behind, I always want to visit more blogs than I can squeeze in one day, not to mention my own writing. Trying to catch up, too :) I'm happy to hear you are doing well!
Enjoy your time and don't stress about blogging. We're happy to hear from you whenever you have time.
    Lots of hugs to you,
    Beate

  12. LISTENING to your beloved followers really helps to put EVERYTHING into some kind of perspective that works for you, Louise. When I first started blogging, it was everyday OMG what will I say tomorrow...on and on....it went. Then one day after my heart event I decided that starting blogging was one step but to let it take over was something I couldn't handle or allow. I have Jim. I have Sophie. I have other things that make my heart sing. So use all of this as a learning curve and process. Make a list and then decide what needs to be completed or maybe even done away with.

OK my ol' friend the time is yours and I hope things start to come together and jell, maybe like jello ~ strong, wobbly and yummy!!

    Ron
