WIS #2: A Little Comic Relief

In my last post I introduced a new series of posts
I'm working on called Written in Stone.

Since I began my WIS series with pithing a live frog,
I thought I would lighten the tone with a little humor in this post.

    1. T-rex has taken a lot of grief and abuse over the years because of its stubby arms. No respect ~ LOL Have a good one!

  5. These are quite hilarious! That first one reminds me of my little black pug we used to have. She never did learn to play with toys, but I bet if my boxers found them fascinating, she would have stolen the rocks from them lol. Thanks for the little giggles today!

    1. What a welcome surprise you are, Ron! I go check that post. Thank you so much. I hope you and Jim are doing well. We decided not to go go Hawaii this year. We need a little time at home to catch our breath, regroup, and plan. Take care, my friend, and please give Ms SD a belly rub for me! And a big hug to you to pass on to Jim!

    2. Hey, Ron! I went and liked. The only thing I found was an Indonesian-sourced comment that posted yesterday, so I deleted it permanently just now. How do you find these things out? You amaze me!

    3. Sorry for being so slow in replying, my system is related to the "notify Me" box located in the right lower part of this or other's comments. I have sent a copy of the Notify Me box checked and unchecked to you on Private Message FB. With it checked I will always receive whatever is commented on this post. I hardly if ever uncheck the box, so if some spammer jumps on board I receive a heads up. Gotcha. Anyway, these intruders should show up in your "Published Comments" section also. If this is too techie don't worry about it.

  11. Dear Louise, Loved the humor. I'm not quite old enough to remember the Jurassic era but heard it was a hoot --a real BIG HOOT. Thanks for the fun.

    1. You're welcome, Geo! I plan to insert some geological humor into future posts on rocks. "Written in Stone" isn't the only topic I'll be writing about. I'll be back to some northern posts and other topics. I've been a little scattered lately because we've had a lot going on in our everyday lives ~ nothing bad, just the natural fallout from so much recent traveling. That said, we'll be off for a shorter trip in the near future. Good thing that I have a lot of experience with chasing my tail! All the best to you, my friend!
