I'm back after traveling to Las Vegas twice in two weeks, once without a computer.
We were meeting up with different friends, Jon and the East Coasters from the US
and then Janeth from Ottawa, Canada. Hectic, but fun!

We crammed everything we could into our visits,

They had a tournament pot of $150.

During our two trips we saw lots of sports events
(football, baseball, hockey) in different venues.
A definite fun time was Wednesday Night Hockey in Bar Canada at the D!
I was definitely thinking of my blogging buddy Debra who is a big Oilers fan!
Unfortunately the Edmonton Oilers lost to the Calgary Fames 4-3 in a Shootout. 😱

DeleteWow, Vegas is so different now. They need people like you going there since tourism is down 12%. (Which is huge for Vegas.)
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Diane! Yes, visits are down in Vegas, and it's not just because of Canadians boycotting. It's gotten more and more expensive with lots of added on fees, so people are choosing to go elsewhere. It's sad. But so far we're still getting comps, so we continue to have fun there. Take care!

DeleteThere's something about Vegas that is energizing! Even looking at your pics brings some energy into the equation! I've been a few times...seen some great things...but there is so much more to do. It looks like you had a great time - but I know being home for a bit will also be great!
