The sun is shining brilliantly in Colorado this morning,
despite the deep disappointment in
Broncos Land.
Even though we Broncos Fans
did everything we could to support our team,
it was not to be!
I'm thinking, What happened?
Yikes!!!!!
But I am also thinking,
the Broncos gave us a wonderful season
right up through February 1, 2014.
I'm going to let the disappointment go.
Thank you Broncos all
for the pleasure and fun
you gave us this season!
Peyton Manning is a class act all the way,
and he will always be an inspiration to me!

Here's a song full of sunshine
that never fails to lift my spirits.
Enjoy!

haha poor poor you, but like you say they were fun to view, until tat faithful day when they blew it on display
ReplyDeleteYou expressed it so well, Pat! They certainly blew it, right from the first bad snap! But onwards and upwards! I hope that you are enjoying your day! Take care!
ReplyDeleteI heard there was football game yesterday!! Sorry for the lose but hey it looked like you guys had fun preparing and watching the game! Hey, there's always next year right?
ReplyDeleteYou're right, Jim! There is always next year! And we did have fun leading up to the first snap! Well, we had fun afterwards too!
DeleteSorry Louise I feel like I jinxed your team - I decided to watch the Super Bowl for the 1st time ever & of course cheer on the Broncos - and they had a very bad day:( This is why I never watch our Canadian hockey teams during the Olympics - because I have the power to jinx things - lol.
ReplyDeleteDespite yesterday, the Broncos had a great year!
Cheers,
Barb
Too funny, Barb! Luckily you're somewhere in the Great White North and safe from mad Broncos fans! Do not, I repeat, do not watch Canadian hockey during the Olympics. You can watch Russia and the US though! I had a blast this year following the Broncos, and I anticipate another fun time next year! Take care!
DeleteManning is a class act. I was stunned the Super Bowl was so one-sided. Next year!
ReplyDeleteWell Alex, I was stunned too. I was looking forward to a great game! But next year is another year, and I'll be right back cheering my Broncos on! Have a good one!
DeleteShame your team didn't win.
ReplyDeleteThanks, GT! I really wanted the win, especially for Manning and Coach Fox ~ but life goes on! I hope that you are enjoying your summer. We're headed into cold weather for the next few days! Come on spring! Take care!
DeleteSorry your team didn't win. I love this song! I also love "I'll Follow the Sun". Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks you, Linda! When I was thinking of sunshine songs, I forgot "I'll Follow the Sun" another Beatles' song that I love. I'm going to You Tube right now! Have a great day!
DeleteSo sorry that your team lost. You are correct about Payton Manning, he is a football player that SHOULD be admired. What a great guy.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Beatles should make anyone feel better! Love that song.
Thanks, Kay! I never realized just how great Manning was as a human being until I started learning more about football this year. Wow! Sometime this off-season, I'll take a page from your book, and do a post on an uplifting person! I hope that you are enjoying a great week! Take care!
DeleteDeepest condolences. There's always next year!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debra. I'm already looking forward to next year! Have a happy week with your RO!
DeleteSo sorry your team didn't win, Louise!!! Until I just read your post, I was thinking the 49ers played Seattle. Ha! Clearly I'm not a football fan!!! How funny.
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up, Audrey! Clearly u r not a football fan! I just became a serious one this year, and I've had so much fun, enjoyment, and learning! I hope that you and your family are having a great week! Take care!
DeleteWhile I sided with the Seahawks (just to pick a side), it was one of the "worst" superbowls to watch in a long time. Most of the people I talked to here in South Carolina didn't even bother to watch the last half.
ReplyDeleteHey Adam! You are right! The game was way to one-sided. Terry and I left Parkway B&G somewhere in the fourth quarter because we couldn't bear to watch the end. After having John Elway as the 4th quarter comeback king, it was hard to give up hoping. Onward and upwards! Have a great day!
DeleteMaybe next year, eh? Love that photo of you!
ReplyDeleteNext year for sure! Thanks for the compliment! As I increase in experience on this world, it's getting more challenging to get a good shot of me! LOL!!!! Time seems to be so much kinder to men! My E-P just gets cuter every day! Have a good one!
