Short and Sweet

It's a short post today, because it's been a hectic week.
I haven't even been able to visit the posts of the people who visited me last week.
I'm going to try very hard to get around this week.
I hope everyone is doing well and has had a more relaxing week than I.

I'm sharing one photo of mine, the fascinating Sphere in Las Vegas.
It's a music and entertainment venue near the Venetian.
It features immersive video and audio in its 18,000-seat auditorium
with a 16K resolution wraparound interior LED screen,
and its exterior features another 580,000 sq ft (54,000 m2) LED screen.
The Sphere is 366 feet (112 m) high and 516 feet (157 m) wide
and cost $2.3 billion to build.
I haven't visited it yet, but it's very high on my must see list. Wikipedia

    1. Thanks, Sue! My week came to a screeching halt yesterday. I wrote this on Wednesday, then went for my flu and covid vaccinations. Unlike times in the past, the shots knocked the stuffing out of me, and I was useless yesterday, sleeping away the heart of the day. Fortunately the painful aching and flu symptoms are gone today. Guess what? The world didn't end when it took me out for a day! LOL. I hope you are enjoying a relaxing weekend and your lovely spring flowers. ❤️

  2. ...Louise, that is a fabulous night image! Those mushrooms are fancier than I am! That truck is a refreshing sight! I can see who is the boss in your family! Take care and be well.

    1. Aloha, my friend! The Sphere is fascinating to watch, and I am determined to see a show there. Whenever we visited London, I liked to go to Portobello Road. It is fascinating, and there are endless opportunities to take pictures. Hawaii is getting closer, and I'm beginning to get excited about going back. I've been cleared by my eye surgeon to paddleboard, and I'm working on balance and core strength in the gym in preparation. Have a great weekend, my friend!

    1. Hi, Alex! The Sphere changes constantly. It's amazing. We watched it being built over five years, and it was worth the anticipation. Enjoy your weekend, my friend!

    1. Josie is a great dog, Debra. Pat and Barb walk her four times a day ~ well, when Pat's away she gets three walks. I hope that you got some Qigong in this week and that you are easing into an enjoyable weekend.

  6. Good evening, Louise. Are you back from your anniversary trip to Vegas yet, then? The Dome looks amazing, I would so like to visit it myself, but alas I wouldn't be allowed to leave mainland Great Britain, as the psychiatrist wouldn't allow me to go abroad - so it seems I have to like and lump England! Such is the inconvenience of being a mental health patient! Tut. But I do love holidaying in my homeland, just last week we went to Cumbria for five days to visit the Lake District, which I enjoyed immensely. Sorry you've had a hectic week, you seem on the 'go' so much in your posts that I can't help but feel for your sweet-self.

My pet dog, who I no-longer have, used to also be stubborn with going back home, but it was usually if I took her out for a short walk (with bad weather, or in a rush to do something or be somewhere), and I used to have to pull her all the way back. If dogs could understand English in depth, we could explain to them that there is a reason for rushing back home? Wishful thinking! Ha.

Take wonderful and gentle care of yourself, Louise. Until next time. Love love, Andrew.

  8. Been super hectic here this week too. To the extent of a little dehydration lol oh well it's over. Onward we go.

You mean alllll the times you've been to Vegas and no sphere? Darn that gambling and strip.

Hahaha she sure wants to keep going. She knows how to relax too. Mine don't fight to go home, but they'd walk til they dropped.
