Flying High, that is a wonderful view. Enjoy your travels, see you later on.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jean! I'll be by soon, now that I've arrived in Honolulu, and I'm set up in our hotel lobby. I hope all is well with you and Hugh!
DeleteEight miles straight up! Isn't it amazing we can fly?
ReplyDeleteHi, Sandi! Yes it is amazing. I understand the physics of flying, but I still marvel at experiencing flying. Have a good one!
Deleteup, up, and away....and off you go! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteHi, Peggy! So far, so good! We're getting ready to watch the Super Bowl soon. It's wonderful to be back in Hawaii! I hope that you and Don are enjoying the day! Take care!
DeleteWhat? You were on the ground? That must have been strange. Now back in the air. You must feel better now. That ground must cause a panic attack lol
ReplyDeleteHaha, Pat! I get antsy if I'm stuck in one place too long, and I do love to fly! Our flights to San Diego and Honolulu were as smooth as smooth can be, although on the Honolulu leg I did not have a window seat. Terry though it was just an ocean, and we've flown over it quite a few times. Not! I hope all is well with you, my friend!
DeleteSafe travels!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alex! We made it here just fine ~ The only glitch was when TSA in San Diego pulled Terry's iPad, prescription drugs, and snacks out of his bins and didn't tell him. Fortunately Terry discovered the fact while having coffee before the flight and retrieved them. TSA Pre-check doesn't always work! LOL I hope that you and your wife are enjoying a good weekend!
DeleteHave fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Martha! I can go anywhere and have fun, but Honolulu is extra special. I hope that you and George are have a relaxing weekend and that the new kitty doesn't have you chasing your tails too much!
DeleteFly safe
ReplyDeleteThanks, Adam! We had excellent flights to San Diego, and then on to Honolulu after a fun stopover with friends in San Diego. I hope that you and Daisy have enjoyed your weekend! Take care!
DeleteOh what a nice photo! I would be hyperventilating lol...can't fly, it ensures panic in me! Have a great time and be safe!!! Do they still give you peanuts and those little liquor bottles btw? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rain! I snapped that somewhere over the Pacific last year. I dearly love flying. The Earth sliding below is lovely. Some airlines still pass out peanuts, but you have to buy the little liquor bottles now. I think in first class you may still get them free. I wouldn't know ~ I'm usually strapped to the wing. I remind Terry that had we been on the Titanic, we'd have gone down with the ship because we're always in the cheapest part of steerage! I hope you, your significant other, and all those cute four-footed buddies are having a great weekend! Take care!
DeleteGreetings Louise. Hope you have a safe flight? Blessings to you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
ReplyDeleteHi, Andrew! We had safe, smooth flights; first to San Diego on Thursday and then to Honolulu on Friday. We're now settled into our favorite Royal Grove ~ Where I have sllooowwww internet access only in the lobby and breezeway. I'll be kicked out shortly because there is going to be a Super Bowl pot luck here. Blessings back at you my friend. I'll be by shortly. I'm trying to at least reply to all the comments before I have to vamoose!
DeleteHope you enjoy your stay. Glad your flights ran smoothly! I've never been on a plane, I have travelled by boat though. I used to holiday a lot here in the UK. Sorry your internet speed isn't up to scratch! Tut. Take good care. Blessings back to you.
DeleteThank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
Wherever you're going, have fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debra! We're doing exactly that, enjoying the warm weather on Waikiki. Enjoy not going to work this coming week!
DeleteHave fun my friend! Safe journey!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stacy! So far we've had a lovely and safe time. It's wonderful to be out of the cold weather and enjoying the warmth of Honolulu! You would love to walk under a big banyan tree on the waterfront not far from our hotel. At dusk it is filled with what must be thousands of birds settling in for the night. The chorus of their voices is amazing! Have a great week, my friend!
DeleteBon voyage, chère Louise!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Geo. Terry and I have fled winter again, this time for the warmth of Waikiki. Wishing you and Norma a great week!
Deletewishing you safe and joyful journey my dear Louise!!!
ReplyDeleteyou are so smart to hit all the targets as successfully .
hope and pray that your post for IWSG will be just excellent my friend :)
Thank you, Baili! We have safely arrived in Honolulu and are enjoying the warm weather. It is always wonderful to get to the ocean again ~ although the Hawaiian Islands are way out in the middle of a very big ocean! Wishing you and your loved ones a happy and fulfilling week!
