Happy Halloween 2018!

Call this a desperation play!
I have three posts in the works, but nothing finished.
I'm looking at dental and medical procedures over the next few days ~
nothing fun, let me tell you!
So I'm in a time crunch and pulling out a post theme
I haven't used in a few years:  Picture of the Day.
Here are a couple of Halloween photos from yesterday evening.

If you celebrate Halloween, I hope you had a blast!
I miss our Halloween trick-or-treaters,
and I miss my Halloween school parties and parades
with all my wonderful second and third grade kiddos.

Terry took me out for a glass of wine, so all was not lost.
Have a good one!

  1. Greetings Louise. I enjoyed Halloween with my Grandchildren - it was my Granddaughter's birthday! Glad you had a good one. We all have memories of Halloween as a child, most pleasant! Blessings to you. Love love, Andrew.

    1. I'm glad that you had fun with your grandchildren on Halloween, Andrew. It's times like that that make life worth living. All the best to you! I will be by soon; I'm caught in a major time squeeze. Take care!

  2. 3 posts, only 3? Geez lol

If only you could beam up away from the dentist, blah to going there. But what has to be done has to be done. Never fun. Had 74 kiddos at the door at our shore and Cassie growled at everyone haha she doesn't like the doorbell.

    1. I'll never catch you, that's for sure, Pat! You could pop out a book about Cassie and the trick-or-treaters, and the doorbell and the growling ~ And in time for next Halloween! I'm sure you could give it a scary twist ~ but not toooo scary for kiddos! All the best, my friend!

    1. Thanks, Alex! I bought it years ago after drinking a very strong and expensive Warp Core Breach with my husband and two of my sisters at Quark's Bar on the Deep Space Nine Promenade in the former Las Vegas Hilton. It finally fits ~ LOL Have a great weekend!

    1. Thanks, Sandi! I'm an original. When the series came out in the 60s, dozens of us would gather in the reception room of our residence at Acadia University and watch the show on this tiny black and white tv. How times have changed! Have a great weekend! LL&P!

    1. Thanks, Rain ~ not too bad for 68! I'm feeling pleased with myself as I'm getting back to my university weight. All those hikes and flights of stairs are paying off. I love both Star Trek and Star Wars, and sometimes it is easy to mix them up. I'm glad you had fun. Do your wolves dress up as Grammy or Little Red Riding Hood and your bears as Goldilocks out in your Quebec wilderness? LOL No Wintigos, I hope! Take care!

    2. Oh my gosh! I seriously thought I saw a Windigo in 2007 when I lived in a town called...get this...MANSONville near the U.S. border in Quebec!!! Scared the bleep out of me! I'm happy for you Louise, that you're getting your weight to where you want it!! :)

    1. Thanks for the lovely comment and well wishes, Stacy! That perked up my day which I spent filling out my complicated mid-term election ballot (3 hours) and complicated medical forms (4 hours). My dental procedure went all right yesterday, but I have to unexpectedly go back on Tuesday for x-rays because something "strange" is going on in my upper jaw. Great! My mouth just keeps on giving! Tomorrow and Monday will be the pits and Tuesday will be an hour of driving each way to my dentist's office, not including the X-Rays and about a 45 minute examination. But come Wednesday, everything will be coming up roses!!! I can't wait!!! I'll just keep telling myself I've got great legs!!! I climbed up and down 78 flights of stairs today, and I'd like to hit 70 tomorrow but that might be hard because I can only have jello and clear broth tomorrow. We'll see. I'm training to climb Koko Head in Hawaii. It has 1048 steps which is 70 flights of stairs in my house. Today was the first time I broke 70 flights, so I'm pleased with me! I hope all is well with you. I'm determined to make the blog rounds tomorrow. Big hugs back at you!
