Both Terry and I were slow to get moving after our long trip home from Hawaii.
Truth be said, we're not really moving yet. 😂
I'm sharing a few parting shots from beautiful O'ahu.

For Rain: Cards ~ With all the card players in my life and all the card playing I love to do, I thought it would be easy to find a photo of cards. Wrong! I guess I'm too busy playing. 😂 I chose two historic cards I saw in the Royal British Columbia Museum, BC's oldest known playing cards. Manufactured by Lawrence & Cohen between 1860
1863, the cards are "square cut from one sheet, have no corner markings and use full length artwork." (RBCM exhibit notes) Lawrence & Cohen

Hawaii came and went too fast, but I am filled with memories of good times.
Hopefully I'll be fortunate enough to return to this special place next year!
Till next time ~

Beautiful shots. I can see why you love it, and why a piece of your heart stays there.
ReplyDeleteSue, you're back! Yay! Aloha, my friend! And you're right, a piece of my heart is always in Hawaii! ❤️🌺
DeleteGlad you're home safe.
ReplyDeleteAnd at least she has the body to make that fashion statement.
Thanks, Alex! I've never made a fashion statement like that in my life. 😂 Have a great weekend!
Delete...Louise, all good things must come to and end. You can't go back unless you leave to go home. Take care and be well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement, Tom! I had a wonderful time, and I learned so much. You take care and be well too! Happy weekend!
DeleteOh, that koi face! It's always sad and a little heart-wrenching to leave beautiful, wonderful Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that face a hoot?! You understand how I feel, Debra! Much aloha to you!
DeleteRe-entry is so hard! And especially when you are leaving a beautiful spot that you love. But glad you are home safe and hopefully rest and recover from the travel soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanie! I woke up early this morning and tried getting out of bed, I felt like the atmosphere was crushing me to half my height and thought of Suni and Butch returning to the Earth after spending a long time on the International Space Station. I went right back to bed and slept some more. Now I feel human. We're starting a huge renovation in two weeks, so I have to get busy ~ after today. Hugs and love to you!
DeleteWhat amazing photos! You sure that wasn't you posing by that white car? LOL!! Never have I been to Hawaii, but I had my Hawaii "know how" to send lots of folks as a travel agent. Shh... no one needs to know that I was never there.
ReplyDeleteOh, Kay! Shh...I hope you follow your own advice! Never, even in my glory days did I pose like that! 😂 Never in my glory days did I look like that! Oh well, I just have to make the most of what I've been given and keep it moving. 😂 Love and hugs to you!
