I was scouring my photos from my travels
earlier this year,
and look what I found!
Hat
Who is better known for hats than the Queen?
Sometimes I find the English quite perplexing.
This portrait was hung in a public washroom
along the River Thames!
5. In the Mirror
Angel and I in the Mirror in July
Would she cooperate in September?
Nope, no purring kitty on the massage table ~
Angel was having more fun under the table
or crawling behind my clothes!

haha when the pup wants attention she wants attention. Fun you get a kitty visitor with a massage too, make it interesting at the same time as getting all loosened up. A walk is better than money? hmmm not sure on that lol
ReplyDeleteI love kitties, Pat! I can't have one, so I love seeing Angel, and she always comes running to see me. And can she purr! There's nothing wrong with money, but I sure do love walking in our beautiful fall mountains. Have a happy evening!
DeleteLove that photo of the Queen, someone making a statement?
ReplyDeleteAlso, what about your weather? Did you get a really bad hail storm? Hope you are okay!
Thanks, Kay! I think the public bathroom was built for the Queen's Jubilee! Too funny! We're fine. There has been hail all around us this summer, but so far we are okay ~ Knock on wood! Have a good one!
DeleteAlways construction!
ReplyDeleteYou took some amazing photos. Even if the cat didn't want to cooperate.
Thanks, Alex! I've got everything ready to go tomorrow! Can't wait! Take care!
DeleteThe scenery is just stunning. My favourite though is the Queen - it made me laugh so much seeing her face between the two toilets! x
ReplyDeleteYou should have seen the toilet seats, Julie! They were the British Flag! I laugh every time I look at the photo! Take care!
DeleteThe Queen made me laugh too - great find! A good collection of photos, as always!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Louise! I love the British sense of humor! I was already after my husband to do another trip to England before we got home from our first one! Have a good evening!
DeleteThe Brits probably wanted the Queen's photo to be near the Throne Rooms, eh?
ReplyDeleteTrust you, Debra, eh! LOL! I hadn't thought of that one! Take care!
DeleteThe queen's photo by the restrooms.....I couldn't stop laughing. Why is that SO funny? :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't know why it's SO funny, Audrey! But it makes me laugh every time I look at it! I'm listening to US3 - Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia) right now. It always makes me think of you. Have a good one!
DeleteWonderful shots, Louise! Love the mountains, the rainbow, Gracie and - of course - the cat shots! And I had to laugh with the photo of the Queen near the bathrooms. Things that make me go hmmm...
ReplyDeleteIsn't Gracie a dear? She's my SIL's dog, and I love her to pieces. Her fur is as soft as Angel's. Hmmm is right! LOL Have a great evening!
DeleteGreat job Louise!
ReplyDeleteSo you really had a high-straight flush?!! So that was YOU I heard!! lol
Actually you heard Terry, Jim! I rarely get a royal flush, so when I do I am usually stunned into silence. Terry was jumping all over the place! Have a one!
DeleteWow! Google ate my comment, Jim! Good thing I came back! That was Terry you heard shrieking. On the rare occasion that I get a royal flush, I'm usually stunned into silence! LOL It was a fun moment! Now the $$$ are safely in the bank. Have a happy evening!
DeleteOkay! I really don't get computers, Jim. I posted the second comment after being on other sites for the last 15 minutes, and up pops the missing one. LOL! Take care!
DeleteLove your autumn color photos! And the photos of you with the cat peeking through! And the double rainbow!!! What a wonderful September you've had... except for the construction on I-70...
ReplyDeleteHi Snowcatcher! I'm sorry to be replying just now ~ jam-packed week! Yes, I've had an awesome September! And I hope your has been great too. I-70! OMG! I think it'g going to take a lot of construction to whip it into shape! Have a good weekend!

ReplyDeleteAmandax
Thanks, Amanda! That photo was such a stroke of luck! Have a great day!
DeleteReally enjoyed looking at your photos and reading your post~ gorgeous scenery, funny about the lock, congratulations on your win ~ doesn't hurt to have a rainbow for good luck. Quite something if the toilet seats were decorated with the Union Jack design...no wonder the Queen looks so proud...great comeback comment...throne room.
ReplyDeleteHi Glo! Thanks for your kind comment! Debra ~ She Who Seeks ~ has a great sense of humor and a sharp wit! I should have put the toilet seat up too. Time crunch! I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

ReplyDeleteBest,
Donna
Thanks, Donna! Google often eats my comments ~ It can be very frustrating. Have a good one!
DeleteDouble rainbow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How opportune! I love the cat photo shoot- they just wont play ball, will they!?!?!
ReplyDeleteEnglish public toilets are SO unpredictable- they are the utter pits, or bizarre or amazing!x
Hi Kezzie! It's always great to see you! I adore cats because they are such independent spirits! I'd have one, but Terry doesn't like them in our home. English public toilets are a hoot, and a sampled a number of them around London last spring. The first one I ran into in London was underground on one of the tube lines. I was dashing between trains and didn't have much time. That's when I discovered that you had to pay and I had the wrong English coins and not enough. But some kind person had left some on top of the coin box so I used them. Later my SIL told me that I had probably taken an attendant's tip! I still feel badly! I got very good at spotting Starbucks and MacDonalds because they usually have clean, free (but busy) bathrooms ~ travelers trick! I'm behind at visiting blogs, but I'm slowly catching up. Can't wait to see yours! Take care!
