Happy Thanksgiving to My Canadian Family and Friends!

Monday is Thanksgiving in Canada, and I hope everyone has fun!
Since I can't be with my Canadian family and friends,
I thought I share a few funnies to celebrate.  Cheers!

And, please-oh-please, someone have a butter tart for me!

Happy Friday, and have a great weekend!

Till next time ~

  3. Happy Canada Thanksgiving. Love the Canadian trap. I'd be more afraid of geese, too. They bite.

    1. Sad to say, I'd probably pig out on both. My absolute favorite is cranberry raisin pie. Have lots of fun and pumpkin pie when you celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving!

    1. I loved that one, Jean. I couldn't resist sharing it, even at the chance of ruffling a few American friends' feathers. The Halifax Chronicle Herald has a long history of scathing political cartoons. Terry and I are laying low and will continue to do so. Kudos, yet again, to your strong Prime Minister. Hugs to you and Hugh!

  7. Thank you for sharing these as we who live south of you need a laugh. So many good ones here, I'm sending them to a Canadian friend. Yes, I would love to visit Canberra for a month, maybe spring/summer 2021, but so far we're not allowed in . . . yet!

  11. Those geese are nasty little sobs, but at least they can't eat you whole lol That is rather funny that NS has less active cases than the white house. Though NB is going up, so we shall see if we do too. Gotta love the newfie humor.

    1. Thank you for your wonderful comment, Baili! You lifted my spirits at a point when I really needed it. We learned yesterday that very close friends of my brother and his wife Sue, also friends of my whole family, are very sick with Covid; this morning these wonderful, loving people are not answering phone calls, so we are extremely worried about them. And Colorado is now experiencing the highest number of new Covid cases since this pandemic began. Terry and I are doing fine, although he's still downstairs and me up, only greeting each other with masks. But a loving hug, even with masks, can't be beat! Fortunately, we don't need to go out of the hose for any reason for a while, except for a walk.

You are so special to me. I'm so thankful that we met and are friends! Much love and hugs to you, and Allah's blessing on you and your family, my dear friend!

Your mom is a nice lady... LOL. That was a good one!

I love me some poutine, so I suppose I am not extremely dumb. Had it for the first time in Canada and have been dying to go back for more. It's just not the same here in the states.
