Thanks Terry! I hope you had a happy Fourth too! I spotted that flag on the waterfront in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia several summers ago. Sometimes I use it as a symbol for me. Take care!
That's what I was thinking too! I'd love to see wild lemmings. I'm glad to see that tropical storm Arthur has weakened on its way to NS. I hope you are all high and dry. Take care!
Those lemmings, they might still be on that cliff! HA! I know what you mean about loving two countries. It's strange, but it somehow makes the love for each more intense. I don't know why that is, but it is so.
I love that Canadian-American flag at the top! This post reminds me of Robin on How I Met Your Mother. She's Canadian and constantly having to argue how great her country is to Americans. I have to say, I've never seen any animosity toward Canadians down here in Tennessee, so I never quite get the jokes on TV and in movies about Americans hating Canadians. As far as I've seen, we love Canadians. Shania Twain--one of my all-time favorite singers, and she's Canadian!
Hey Sis! Sorry I'm late responding! After I picked up my computer yesterday ~ with its new logic board ~ my new-to-me Forester's "Check Engine" light came on in heavy traffic. !@#$%^& Well that wiped out the rest of a hot afternoon! Just a bad sensor that has to be replaced, but I had to return with my car again today to leave it overnight, and then I'll have to pick it up tomorrow! !@#$%^& Dave sold my old Saturn to someone who drove it to D.C. And made it! I miss my Saturn, but I LOVE my Forester. Dave's putting in a clock too, since there wasn't one; and I need one because I kill watches. LOL 16 days!!!!! I cannot wait! "Don't wish your life away, Weesie!" Grammie would say if she heard that! See you soon!
Awesome post, love the images! Thank you so much for the smiles. Happy 4th! :)
