Yes, Terry and I are flying this week, to and from Las Vegas.
As I write this post, I'm anticipating lots of fun.
Terry surprised me with an anniversary gift of a massage
and a full day pass at Encore's spa while we're there.
He knows me so well! 😄

So I thought I'd share a little airplane, flying, and cloud humor today.

Have a great weekend!
Have fun. I don't share your love of planes. At all.
ReplyDeleteHi, Sue! I'm sorry that you don't share my love of planes. Australia is a long way by boat. Fortunately you live in a fabulous country! Enjoy your weekend!
Delete...have a GREAT time, my flying days are in my rearview mirror!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tom! We have had a great time. Now we're at an airpot lounge waiting for our flight. Back to the real world. Have a great weekend!
DeleteEvery meme you put forward is very true!
ReplyDeleteMemes are so much fun, Roentare! I hope you are enjoying a good weekend!
DeleteMy fave is the looking out of the window one! Have a blast in Vegas! Enjoy that spa day and massage!
ReplyDeleteThe spa day was fabulous, Debra! I always love massages, and every masseuse is unique. Happy weekend to you, my friend!
DeleteGreetings Louise. Glad you had a safe flight. I myself have never been on a plane, and perhaps I never will? I am not as brave as your sweet-self! Enjoy your Spa massage and your trip to Las Vegas. Here's wishing you all the very best for your Anniversary with your Husband, Terry. Take wonderful and gentle care of yourselves. Love love, Andrew.
ReplyDeleteThose were some funny ones! Hopefully you saw no duct tape on your plane.
ReplyDeleteLOL those were great. I loved the one about the piolet sweating when the big fan stops!
ReplyDeleteI would give anything if my Uncle Paul was living. He would love every one of these memes. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary. What a nice husband to surprise you with the massage. I love your DNA. It truly is you. Thank you for taking the time to join in on FFO and have a very nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteMy son is airplane inspector. I wonder if he would enjoy these memes.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos of the clouds. I don't know how many times I drove through LIttlefield AZ, along I-15, when I lived in Cedar City, heading to Las Vegas. There isn't much there.
ReplyDeleteOh, and happy anniversary!
ReplyDeleteThose are great memes. I especially like the one about the luxurious planes of the future. Sometimes people get to right, and sometimes they don't. And I like your DNA...grin. Happy anniversary and have fun in Vegas! hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteDuct tape. Now THAT is scary! Love the heavy/carryon thing! Have a wonderful time and Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post
ReplyDeleteHopefully you enjoy Vegas as always and have a great anniversary. And hopefully no duct tape was seen on any planes lol
ReplyDeleteAirplane food sure doesn't look like the top Pic.
I don't mind flying, it's the rigamoral beforehand that annoys me.
Oh, thank you for the wonderful amusement, dear Louise! My favorite meme was "Can you imagine how luxurious planes will be in 50 years..." 😅😂🤣
ReplyDeleteAs far as my DNA goes, it could be similar to yours. Although: I'm actually not a fan of FLYING at all. I'm a fan of ARRIVING at the places I long for and a fan of BEING THERE and EXPERIENCING these places. If I could do magic or beam myself there, I would happily forego flying.
Las Vegas... we went there again after San Francisco (like in 2012). It's not the place I like to go - far too artificial and mammon-oriented for my taste... but only because it's on the way to the national parks... But I know that tastes differ and I hope you enjoy it! Spa days and massages definitely have something to offer that I also like 😊!
All the best, have a nice Sunday and a good new week,
hugs Traude

PS: Thank you for everything you wrote to me about dyslexia in your family!
ReplyDeleteOh LOL ... I laughed all the way through this post. Your sense of humor is a delight, and I have to say, I thought the duck made a great water landing. I agree, I think I would have been very nervous if I saw someone "fixing" my plane with duct tape. Did you take that picture and did you watch that engine all the way to your destination? I too, love to fly, though I am sure I don't get to do it as much as you. My flights to Thailand (20 hours over the date line and arriving on which day???) are a bit grueling, but once I get there it is all worth while. Oh and, when you have the chance, you should let "Dad" know what a real cloud is 🤣 I love it when you post ... you are the best :)
