IWSG: Wednesday, August 7, 2024 ~ Traveling

It's the first Wednesday of the month,
the day that members of the
Insecure Writer's Support Group
share their writing struggles
and writing successes
and offer their encouragement
and support to fellow writers.

To visit the IWSG website, click here.

To become a member of the IWSG, click here.

Our wonderful co-hosts who are volunteering today,
along with IWSG Founder Alex J. Cavanaugh are Feather Stone

I hope you have a chance to visit today's hosts and thank them for co-hosting.
I'm sure they would appreciate a visit and an encouraging comment.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Every month the IWSG announces a question that members can answer
with advice, insight, a personal experience, or a story in their IWSG posts.
Or, the question can inspire members
if they aren't sure what to write about on IWSG Day.
Remember the question is optional.
This month's featured question is:
Do you use AI in your writing and if so how? Do you use it for your posts? Incorporate it into your stories? Use it for research? Audio?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Happy August, Everyone!
I am traveling today, so I'm skipping the question this month.
I've been in Nova Scotia, and Terry and I've had a blast!

We've had lots of fun family times and lots of talking, games, and hugs.
I had a special visitor who drove up from the South Shore,
my special friend and fellow IWSG Administrator, Pat Hatt.
We had a great time.

There is never enough time to spend with family and friends.
It's important to enjoy time together as much as you can.

    1. I love going "home," Tom! My sisters, members of my extended family, and great volunteers from the area have spend years working to save and restore the lighthouse. The Smith's Cove Lighthouse Park just had its official opening about three weeks ago. ❤️

  14. Hahaha did Josie dare get a drink?

    Was a great day indeed. Here's to next year. Still no luck on the apps, guess I should put ballet in interests? Hahahaha

    Spending time with family is the way indeed, as none of us know how long we have with anyone.

    Hope you're enjoying Vegas.

  21. Good tidings to you, Louise. I'm so glad you are with your family, I'm happy for you and Terry. I'll have to get used to taking pictures now I have a decent phone, I never think to use the camera as I'm not used to it yet. Your photo taking is inspiring to say the least.. I do so love seeing you all happy with your socialising with family and friends. Take care of yourself my dear friend. Blessings.

    Love love, Andrew.
